In the twighlight of mankind on Mars, people have moved into great deteriorating domed cities. With limited provisions for real children, androids known as Dolls proliferate throughout the cities. Conflict between cities is limited to fights between city chamions.
Leila Ashley is the champion of Serena City until a challenger arrives accompanied by a unique Doll named Nei. Leila easily defeats this challenger and claims Nei as her own. Over the pleas of city leaders, Leila and Nei leave Serena City to wander the planet.
